Wednesday I started my third round of Temodar. My regimen is three 100 MG capsules for five days in a row and then bloodwork 22 days later. The first two rounds I experienced some constitpation, but now I am starting miralax a couple days before start taking the Temodar and that has helped that issue. My oncologist also prescribed an anti-nausea drug. I take it one hour before the Temodar, take my other meds and go to bed. So far no issues with nausea! Two things have surfaced with the Temodar, I am more fatigued than I have been in the past, but discovered that if I can make myself do some additional physical activity it helps. In the last month red spots have shown up on my arms and I bruise more easily. When I met with the oncologist this week, I raised that issue. The spots don't hurt or itch or cause any discomfort. They are just there. So we are just keeping an I on it for now. So far my bloodworkk has looked good, following the first two rounds of Temodar. so are encourgaged. I was on Yervoy, but lilttle result. I have metastatic melanoma in my brain and scattered throughout my body. Will be having a PET-CT scan in early September so I looking forward to seeing the result. Hopefully I will be able to share some good news after that. Best of luck!
