Wishing you the best on your scan, you are experiencing a bit of "scanxiety". Here is a blog post we ran a few weeks ago on this subject, it's rather common, I would say we all experience it in some way. https://www.whatnext.com/blog/posts/scanxiety-sound-familiar

This is very common. When I had my first mammogram after chemo, rad and surgery, I was scared. I brought a friend with, just in case there was any bad news. And there wasn't. Hopefully, the scan will be the way it should be. God Bless.

Good luck. In fact I'm going for my scans at 7 am tomorrow, so I know exactly how you feel. I am nervous before every scan and the appointment with the result.

Wishing you good news tomorrow, both you and SueRae1. We go back to the oncologist tomorrow at 7:30 am for the results of the hubby's CT scan, the first post surgical scan, and are expecting to start another round of chemo as per our first post surgical oncology follow up.

Will be thinking good thoughts on your scan. Just take deep breaths. The anxiety is normal, as the others have said. It also never seems to leave. Just part of the whole crummy package. It's been almost 10 years for me, and my heart is still in my mouth waiting for any test results. I just don't think there's any way around the anxiety, really. Just take deep breaths. Good luck on the scan results!
