It depends..there's Xtandi or Zofigo or chemo. I went for chemo (cabazitaxel) and an investigational drug. I'm a big believer in participating in clinical trials. The researchers are always looking for guinea pigs and it's a way to help out those who come after us. You can check out the trials on clinicaltrials.gov and search by location, type of cancer, and other criteria. Probably a good time to have quite a discussion with your doctor.

Thanks for responding mgm48. We already had chemo....taxotere....we had xofigo yesterday and are hoping it works to alleviate the pain in his hips. Go back to see oncologist in june. Depending on his PSA....we will see what he recommends. He has done well for us so far.....crossing fingers.
