I decided I was unable to go back to work
Decision Point
After surgery, due to the resection being so low, I developed what is called chronic dumping. Not diarrhea exactly, but I was going often with very little control. After waiting several months and seeing a Gastroenterologist, we decided I would not return to work. I need to run to the potty on a moment's notice, as many times as I need to. I have been able to go on Disability and control this a bit better with diet, but this will always be a problem. I have good hours though (and they are not predictable) so I take full advantage of those.
