Health insurance issue
Oh No
My insurance company delayed my surgery by repeatedly taking too long for approvals. Ended up with no reconstruction to avoid further delay.

Allergic reaction
Side Effects
Stopped Taxol after 6 weeks. I developed a rash that started on my ankle area and moved up my legs. Taxol stopped to avoid the rash appearing on the rest of my body, including my face. Also had neuropathy in hands and feet. Even now I still have it in my feet, from my toes to the first 1/3 of my foot.
Following Herceptin infusions I was put on Arimidex. Had to stop Arimidex after one month.
Decision Point
Decided just this week to give Aromasin a try. I have a 30-day sample to try before going back for my first post-chemo & Herceptin check-up. I'm very hesitant to do this, but being HER-2/neu with ER+ & PR+, I know it's supposed to help. I'll decide next month whether or not I will continue with it. First serious side effects, I'm done.

Celebration
