Treatment or not
Decision Point
I was told that without treatment I could expect to survive 2 months, with treatment I could expect approximately 14 months. I chose no treatment for 2 months, then decided to do radiation and chemo even though my tumor was shrinking. I had a lot of people praying for me!
External radiation
Radiation
After two days of radiation and temodar I had brain swelling that caused a terrible headache and a seizure. I stopped radiation for a week and took steroids. My doctors recommended I contact hospice. But I pulled through and restarted the radiation and temodar. I continued to have much prayer.
