Double Mastectomy
Procedure or Surgery
Had a lumpectomy on Feb 8,2012. No clear margins. 5cm and 3cm. Double mastectomy on Feb. 22,2012. 17 lymph nodes taken. All were cancerous. Infection delayed healing. About 8 extra weeks. Then moved on to chemo
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
5 months of chemo left me with weakness and easily fatigued. Also neuropathy in feet.
External radiation
Radiation
Doing radiation now. Very easy compared to chemo
