I was diagnosed with BAC left lung in October 2010. I had a left upper lobectomy December 16, 2010. Then for a year I was told I had intestinal inflammation for almost a year. didn't, I had Pancreaticneuroendocrine. I had a Whipple April 3, 2012. I began getting Sando injections in August 2012. Was changed to Lanreotide in January 2017. Doing well.

Hello. I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Stage 2 on 2/5/18. I had surgery, removing tumor and half my pancreas as well as my spleen on 2/14/18. My oncologist has me receiving chemotherapy - done 2 cycles so far. I'm feeling okay with some nausea that Zofran takes care of. I'm 53 years old with an 11 yr old daughter and 18 yr old daughter.

Were you diagnosed with PNETS? PNETS does not usually respond well to Chemo. Consequently the patoients receive Landreotide or Sandostatin the rest of their lives so the hormones involved do not allow the tumor/tumors to "come back" "Grow back" I am confused.
