Anastrozole has nothing to do with stage or bone cancer. It is an aromatase inhibitor meaning that it reduces the estrogen in your body. If your breast cancer was estrogen positive that means that estrogen could trigger a recurrence of breast cancer. The anastrozole reduces the risk of recurrence for estogen positive cancers.

Celebration (Finished treatment): Yesterday was my last day of treatment, ever so thankful, for people that have implants, so far so good, will know better in a couple of weeks. my breast is dark in areas and pink in others some is beginning to peel, i'm so happy to be done with that. Had a great Dr. Shadle and her team of Angels! Thank You!

2 treatments shy of the end. I have had 31, can't wait to finish. I was very concern due to the fact that I've implants, so far the radiation has not affected it, its been more of a sunburn a little more in some areas were it got dark and begining to peel, all in all not bad.
