Oh No (Cancer is back/Recurred ): After another fall at home, a hospital stay and nursing home rehab. They think the lung cancer is back. The lung specialist said if she did not want to pursue any more treatment he would not advise any more testing to confirm his diagnosis. Seems like after you reach a certain age most doctors are like why bother at your age. I am not sure how I feel about that. I suppose I can't really say because I am not the one going thru it all. I knew my mother would lose her will to fight after my sister lost her battle with Melanoma this past April.

Oh No (A fall at home reesulted in a broken neck.): My 84 year old mother has been fighting lung cancer since 2010. She fell and broke her neck in July. She was in the hospital a week and a nursing home for 6 weeks for rehab. She is now back home and living on her own again. With my help a several days a week everything is going pretty smooth. We have cut out some meds that cause dizziness. She is absolutely the strongest person I know.
