Sorry to learn of your diagnosis, but it is good that you caught it early. I wish you the best of luck.

Me again :) You wrote: "I'm sorry my truth hurts so many people's feelings. I'll be sure to refrain from doing that again."

I sure hope you DO NOT refrain from giving your thoughts and opinions. They are at least as valuable as those of any other person on this site! (I would venture to say encouraging someone to LIVE rather than worry about hair might be MORE valuable than some comments ... but that's just me...)

    Happy Friday!

For the record, I'm right there with you. I'm so glad to still be alive that what my hair or my face or my fat body looks like is tolerable because I'm still alive to care that I've gained way too much weight that I can't get rid of and that I've aged 20 years in 6 years...

I would RATHER look like I did before cancer, but that's not what is in the cards...

Congratulations on 18 years survivorship!!! Is that really true?? Wow!!!

Yes it is, since July 7, 2001, and I know what you mean about the weight. I gained 20 pounds while I was on chemo and I still have all of it. I just can't get it off.
