Yes...you're dying of thirst and plain old water tastes exactly like seawater...I experienced that exact problem...ugh! I drank a lot of hot black tea, lemonade, and very cold milk during my AC chemo. The water-is-seawater perception does disappear once you finish chemo. Find something you do enjoy drinking because it's important to stay hydrated.

Today is a very rare low day for me. I had my 3rd TC treatment on Wednesday. Felt bad all weekend.... today it is just a bit much for me... I have one more treatment and then the Radiation. My body and mind are probably just tired. THIS TOO WILL PASS!

The reason I am doing the Chemo/Radiation/hormone therapies is really quite selfish. I have these dreams of something eating my body from the inside out. I want it stopped and I feel this is the only way I can be sure it stops. I am think I can handle the hair loss, dry skin and other things. But, the tender sore tongue is so annoying.... I had mashed potatoes for supper because that didn't hurt my mouth.
