I'm so sorry he's facing that.
I did not have any blood after having my port put in.
I hope the "simple explanation" he was given is correct and that he'll be okay ASAP.

8 months agoThat's too bad he is having issues. usually, a port is a non-eventful thing. I had two of them, the first one stopped working and had to be replaced. The second one stayed with me for 15 years before I would let it go. But, as always, there can always be some crazy thing that comes up. Most of the time these issues are taken care of pretty easily. We hope he gets it cleared up pretty quickly.

Hi! My father was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma just about two months ago. He ended up having his leg amputated from the tumor behind his knee cap. Starting chemo treatments next week. I see you’re from Newburgh NY. He is in Walden, NY. Going to orange regional for treatments. Any advice ?
