This might be a good question for your doctor because we don't know what chemo you received. Some have been known to put people into menopause.

I was close to Menopause anyway. I was 49 when chemo began, Had a regular cycle until then. Haven't had a period since. You should ask your Doctor.

I used Senekot. The cheapest was the Target generic brand I think it was called something like Sienna. But it was suggested by a friend who is an oncology nurse and it was the only thing that didn't produce an "ugly" situation. I also had another nurse suggest miralax in your morning beverage. But I wasn't much for that. The constipation comes from the anti-nausea steroid they give you with your treatment.

Our daughter used miralax as well. she used to drink it with water or juice. she didn't like it as she would say it was like drinking cardboard!! but it did help her. Hope that helps.

I had all kinds of digestive problems during my ABVD. Probiotics helped (my oncologist told me to take florastor) somewhat but other than that, there wasn't much I could do.

I didn't try false lashes, simply because I'm a klutz and didn't think I could do it. Thankfully my lashes grew back much faster than my hair. I was gentle with the mascara for until I felt like they were a little longer, since a friend told me hers fell out and she thought it was because she had used mascara too early. It might have just been a fluke, but I wasn't taking any chances! I hope yours grow back quickly! Sometimes my lack of eyelashes and eyebrows bothered me more than my lack of hair! Good luck!

Yes, me too, and so happy for you! My last treatment was yesterday and we ran for the door!

My eyebrows and lashes didn't fall out/off until I started Doxataxel four treatments ago. I thought about lashes but did not want to chance the glue and I do agree that mascara seems to make them worse, so I only wear makeup when I go someplace where I'll be talking to people, forget walmart or the beach! Oh and I still have my hair, well some of it because I did the cold cap treatment, so I never went bald and can still make a pony tail!!!! All the best.

I lost about 95% of my lashes and eye brows and it was a sore subject for me. I used to see little babies with full, long lashes, and just get so jealous! It took longer than I wanted for the lashes to grow back, but I never did false ones. Kind of like GypsyJule, I just never felt like they were worth the effort. I looked into the extensions but since they attach to your real lashes they won't be much good til yours grow in a little more. I am sure you have found all this out by now though. One thing you might find interesting is that now that your lashes have all fallen out at once, they will grow back and then fall out at once again. That was news to me! I was in the all-or-nothing cycle for more than a year before they regulated to "normal". What did you end up doing?
