Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): By the 6th cycle of Chemo my CA 125 started to rise and PET/CAT scan showed cancer metastasized to 5 places including liver. Now from stage 2 with no residual desiese I am much more advanced.
I sent my tumor to be tested by Clearity Foundation and the tumor resistance/sensitivity assay showed couple of medication with a good chance to work for me. One of it Alimpa. I convinced my doctor to start on Alimta/Avastin and from the first treatment I already feel better ad the pain went away. Such a relief. Tomorrow is my second sycle of Alimta/Avastin.
I am so greatful to Clearity for their help in my treatment options.
I have set an appointment in January in MD Anderson for opinion and they to will test my tumor before the doctor even sees me.
There is so much difference of dealing with clinics specialized in the field. In Hawaii there are only 6 oncology gynecologist and I have been treated by 3 of them already, but they are far behind. I need a doctor I can trust he knows what he is doing. Its my life on the line!

Seems like you are being very proactive in your care. I'm not sure where you live, but have you tried Sloan Kettering in New York

I’m so relieved and happy that you went for the 8! Well, I did and it was fine. I have been on Avastin but it didn’t work for me, however it does work for most patients that I have known on it and they also seem to tolerate it very well. I would definitely try it, again now is the best chance you have of beating this for good! Go for it if it increases your odds of survival. Good luck and God bless!

I don't (and haven't) take Avastin but know patients who've had a great result. Best of luck!

I appreciate all your support! For the Avastin , my doctor offered it to me but at the same time seems like trying to discourage me with the dangerous side effects and telling me there is chance for stroke and heart attack. So that's why he made me thinking. .
