Hi ajc,
I checked the support group listings at St. Margaret and St. James but did not find one specific to cancer. I'm sure there are other cancer support groups out there, but I just couldn't find any within the Franciscan Health network. Maybe try posting that question on the questions tab? Hopefully someone who is closer to you knows of some support groups in your area. I'm sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

AJC, if you will click on the resources link at the top of the page, then look through what come up (it's based on your zip code, what shows) and see what's there. If you don't see anything there, go to the American Cancer Society's link, call the number that's listed and ask them to connect you with the nearest one, they will have the nearest one to you. Let me know if you get this located, or if you need anything else.
Thanks for posting.

Oh No (Diagnosed): Just had a melanoma diagnosis, scheduled for surgery to take out more tissue before the stage is determined. Just looking for information to get connected and feel better prepared.
