Celebration (Finished treatment): Had my port removed and life is going on for now. :)

Other Care (Herceptin ): I had Herceptin for a full year.

Radiation (External radiation ): Radiation was not difficult, but the side effects from it continue. There is tenderness and tightness in the area that was treated.

Procedure or Surgery (Lumpectomy): I was very fortunate that my margins were clear and lymph nodes were negative. I had 3 nodes removed, all clear. With neo-adjuvant chemo, my tumor (7 cm at diagnosis) was completely gone.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Although I was able to work through it, it took a toll on my body. I had to have to two blood transfusion towards the end of treatment. Blood levels took a long time to go back to normal.
