Hello DeanaBeana, good to hear from you. I have recouped from the March surgery. This one didn't take as long as the others. About two months, but still trying to recoup from that major surgery I had last November with them taking the muscles:( I am still sore, especially when I pick up stuff or try to turn around in the bed. Then I experience a lot of pain. I am awaiting, which I hope, is the last surgery to this ordeal. Hopefully within the month or so. How have you been? Thanks for thinking of me, I appreciate it.

That's great news. I'm so happy to hear from you. I'm doing good enjoying our fall weather in Tennessee. Please let me know how your surgery went. I wish you the best and your in my prayers.

Hello DeanaBeana, thanks for checking on me. I am recovering again from my 6th surgery and hopefully my 7th surgery will be in August and I pray I will be through with this mess. I have been under the influence of pain killers for the past several weeks since my most recent surgery was March 7, 2013. But, I was still recovering from my November 6, 2012 surgery:) take care

I am not use to these boards yet. Keep up the good work and stay positive, I know sometimes it is difficult. I did want to ask about the 3x positive HER2. I have that also. Doctor never went into explaining it. Have they informed you? If so, do you mind telling me what it means? Thanks:)

You certainly have been through a lot. Take it slow and follow the advice of your physical therapist and doctors. I also had quite a few reconstructive surgeries and worked out at what ever level I could handle throughout the journey. I chose to refrain from upper body work (specifically the chest) until reconstructive surgeries were completed as my plastic surgeon told me strengthening the chest muscles would only make the surgeries more painful. Good luck to you... hang in there. Here's to survivorship.

Speak with you oncology team, they will let you know what can and can't do, as well as time frames for starting you exercise and PT. I was told to stop Pilates and Yoga for 6 weeks after my lumpectomy. After I started again, I was told to be very careful with upper body work for several more months.

The implant paperwork said wait one month before even letting you heart rate go up. I didn't wait and am having issues with that. I'd suggest going very slowly. And yes, get your doctor's input
