oh my goodness, this is so similar to my situation! I was diagnosed this January and I took the semester off of college. It was supposed to be my last semester so I was very disappointed that graduation would be postponed for a year but now I'm happy that I made that decision.
Anyway, I'll be returning to school next month as well. However this time I decided to just go part time and to live at home. I only had 4 classes left to graduate so I'll be taking 2 in the fall and 2 in the spring. I think that'll make it much easier on me. Can you go part time instead of full time?
I'm also going to be living at home instead of in the dorms. It'll be about a 2 hour commute each way so that will be a huge hassle but I'd rather be home, honestly. Plus, all of my doctors are out here anyway. Is that an option for you? If you can get all of your classes scheduled just 2 or 3 days a week, maybe that could work for you?
Academically, I'm still scared to go back because I feel like I've forgotten everything! I said I would study for my future classes during my time off (because I had all the syllabi) but seriously, who wants to study hard while they're going through chemo?? Not me! I may start to study and review some material before classes start though. Are you going to be doing that?
