Are any of you skipping radiation after a diagnosis of DCIS? If so, why or why not. Thanks!

I never considered skipping radiation as I wanted to take advantage of all tools available to ward off any advancement of the cancer. I had no side effects whatsoever during the treatments but did have a seroma that presented in my surgical site a month after radiation tx ended. But it's hard to say that it was a result of radiation as it took 3 lumpectomies for me to have clear margins! Now a year later, and 3 all clear mammograms, etc, I have every confidence that all is well and will continue to be.

I skipped it after clear margins and clean sentinel lymph node, but I had small infiltrating not Dcis (dcis means it has not broken thru as mine had) I just didn't feel right about it and although some people do ok I am the one who gets the rare stuff so I said no
