Celebration (Remission): After trying for 12 years, I finally reached my 5 year post cancer anniversary on November 21st! Hopefully my celebration will serve as further proof that the fight can be won, even after 3 recurrences! Love to you all.

Congratulations!! I am a two time survivor of breast cancer as well. I had chemo almost 7 years ago and then was diagnosed again in the same breast earlier this year. I had a bilateral mastectomy (not happy with results at this point). The hair loss was very hard - like you I had some reddish brown curls that I was vain about. My hair returned thicker than before. I found my wig too hot so I wore lots of turbans with big earrings and kohl eyeliner! I wish you good health and peace of mind and many more enjoyable naps (I do mine on flannel sheets accompanied by cats :-)

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): Femara has been more difficult - I am frustrated by joint stiffness and pain, and am so tired all the time! (a little whiny here, forgive me...)

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): Tamoxifen didn't bother me so much - It didn't really impact my life too much, and the side effects were minimal.
