No answers...but wanted to acknowledge you. Did your doctor know? If you are doing this good I guess it didn't block the chemo. Smile. Good luck to you. And, by the way, I did receive an email from you and did respond on that end. Don't let me be a pest. Be honest. Smile. Have a wonderful evening. Fixin to "hit the sack." Long day.

(Bedford is my hometown in Mi). if you mail me I'll gladly return & tell you about my last radiation, it was only a few months ago & was the toughest decision so far. I even set it up & didnt show up the first time... but would be happy to to talk to you about it; it didnt turn out as doom & gloom as they told me it would!!! Shoot me a mail; best wishes , Mike

So glad to hear your doing well. I requested for you to talk to me via email. I don't know if you mind...but we are just walking this journey and I am so very cofused to the maintenance. Was told we would need "preventative" brain radiation to keep it out of brain; and then told not a good idea due to WILL cause dimentia/memory loss. Wow! We are in the process of changing from VA to MD Anderson. Right now unsure if we have enough insurance. The VA seems lost as to what route to go for preventative. VA does not offer target or trials for therapy. Leaving it up to us as to when we want another round of chemo??? Small bit still in bone.

Radiation: FIrst I had to have it on my trachea, 2nd the same. Then, premptive on the brain. That didnt make me as sick as the torso, but the headache was unbearable.... it was worse than chemo.... every time; by far!
