      It could be from tensing up that area during the day....I do that and it can get really sore all over the back of my head and neck area.....may not have anything to do with the cancer.Have you tried clobetesol 0.05% for the rash....

      Why would you want to guess when you've already had cancer? Make an appt with your pcp or oncologist to have it checked out. This time of the year, it could be allergies, but who would want to guess? I had swollen glands all the time before I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. You might have nodules in the area, even if they aren't cancer.

      I'd have them at least looked at by my Doc also.....maybe some tests to see.....but it is probably just tension back there.
