Radiation (External radiation ): Because the radiation had to go through my stomach to reach my back, I had a bit of nausea, but it was controlled by compasine. I had no other side effects.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I am thankful I do not get nauseated, but the shot of Nuelasta has more than "flu-like" symptoms. I feel more like I got hit by a mack truck. It causes major bone pain that no pain med can relieve. The side effects from chemo so far have been hair loss, toenail loss and lack of energy.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): A tumor had completely taken over the L1 on my spine. I had the L1 completely removed and rebuilt. I also underwent radiation at the site, and I now have another tumor on the vertebrae above the L1 but am holding off radiation as long as possible.
