Thank you for reaching out for me. At this point I'm still in shock. Trying to grasp my mind around the fact that "I, Katie" Have Cancer. My brain is numb and I'm looking up support groups near buy just take it day by day. I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

I am 43 and was diagnosed one year ago, August. I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy and chemo. I am cancer free now. I had invasive ductal carcinoma and it was the fast spreading kind. I found the lump myself. I was devastated! I have two children ages 11 and 14. It was the hardest year of my life. If you need anything, or just want to talk, please contact me, I would love to talk with you. I live in New Jersey. Email [email redacted] Take Care, thinking of you!

My children had a really hard time with the cancer diagnosis last year. I am now having difficulty with chemo brain and getting my life back.
