Before I go: some good tools: the "Lose It" app or www.loseit.com is a great place to track your daily food - and if you are gaining or losing weight and how much. "Paprika" is a great recipe book app. "Waze" is a wonderful real time traffic app., you can see how to get around a traffic accident or jam - helpful on trips to the doctors. "Radar Express" gives you local doplar, so you can actually see what's going on, rather than get a "weather report." "Theta Music Trainer" is a wonderful singing app, and teaches you to read music and be on pitch, among other things, no matter what, song will bring a smile, and you don't need anybody else to do it. "Fooducate" lets you smart phone scan each barcode at the grocery store and grades the product for it's true value as human food. There are green hearts for heart healthy foods. And you won't believe the difference in juice brands, and types in the brand...for example. I don't have a smart phone so I typed in the brands and got all the information. Last of all: "Laudate" had loads of prayers, and "divine office" has the Liturgy of the Hours. I found the last one the most helpful round the clock, it was good to know that around the world people were saying the same prayers at the same time as me. 3am before meditation, Dawn, Morning, mid-morning, noon, short after meal, 3pm, 6pm, evening, night. It's mostly the psalms, which are part of Christian, Islam, and Jewish religions. Timeless subjects: War and Peace, the Natural agrarian world, Supernatural vs. humanity, and Praise for good things. You can buy the version that talks it to you - audio (divineoffice.org,) or if you don't have wi-fi everywhere, you can get "Universalis" and download the year's prayers. I have a "Stealth Pro" for around $150 and it's slow to load up but works great after that, and there's lots of room as it has an sd card memory slot. (glare is an issue)...ideally: ipads as their visual resolution is easier on your eyes, whether you are in a dark room or out in the yard in the sun. You can't see the SP in the sun. House and dark are ok.

Thanks for all these apps. We all need something to keep us occupied when going to the doctor, or waiting for the doctor, as it usually is.

Sweet Lady, I'm off for six mos, got a clear PET today, hurray! see my post, there are complications, but they're not cancer. Just wanted to say to you that you were the BEST help and most detailed support. I don't know how you do it, your homelife doesn't give it to you and you still give it to all of us. There's no end to my admiration. Praying for your recovery, always. blessings.

Milestones (PET 3 mos post-op: cancer clear, found other issues, all in all: Freedom!): PET scan clear of cancer, but they found "fatty liver" , sadly, it was an issue I thought was cleared up last year, and is still here. Also found some emphysema but it's asymptomatic, and that explains why I get sick so easily. All in all, I'm supremely happy, alive! And will take whatever else comes my way with the gratitude I feel for being alive and free. I feel free. Of everything I was before today, like I could start my life over from today.
So...bye all, I'm off until 6 month check. Keeping my oncology obgyn, abandoning the local one, the drive to the big town where the teaching hospital is, will be more than worth it.
God bless, take care. You don't know how much you all have meant to me. I wouldn't have made it without you, especially during the nights when I couldn't sleep and you all were here for me. Yeah Whatnext ladies and men. :)
