Celebration (Birthday): In 2012, I celebrated my 30th birthday at Relay for Life. As event chair, I was completely distracted with midnight hit, but my team had not forgotten. They had a big celebration and it was a great reminder of why we fight at the American Cancer Society....for more birthdays!

Oh No (New normal): For me the hardest part of my whole process was the "your done, go back to normal". normal was not something I knew any more and I sure didnt know what this "new normal". I blogged my experience at bigpittstop.blogspot.com. It for me was the cathartic process I needed to walk through the grief of my treatment being over and now trying to discover what I was going to do with it.

Celebration (Remission): August 7, 2008 is my cancer birthday! It was amazing the day I heard the doctor say it was over. Every year is a celebration.
