Bobbie - I live over in Crossville not too far from you. I am a stage IV throat cancer survivor and would like to welcome you to the website (I too am new to the site). I am very involved with the American Cancer Society and the Cancer Action Network so if there is anything I can do to help you find a nitch or answer any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks Bill. Cancer is a difficult thing to experience, and it affects far too many people. Stay strong and keep fighting.

Celebration (Birthday): My Mom died at age 59 from emphysema caused by smoking Camel cigarettes most of her adult life. Although not a smoker, it appeared that I too would be a victim of tobacco smoke (second hand) and also not live to my 60th birthday. One of my regrets was that I had no grandchildren at the time. God, however, blessed me. I not only celebrated my 60th birthday, I got to hear my 2 1/2 year old Grandson Tru sing happy birthday to his Pop and high five my 1 1/2 year old Granddaughter Koey.
