Radiation (External radiation ): I am down to 3 more radiation treatments then I will be through with it then will go on anti hormone pills for the next 5 years.I have had alot of swelling and blistering on my breast but it is healing I have managed to work part time during all of this even though I have taken several days off due to severe fatigue as well as colds this winter.

glad to hear things are progressing nicely,, or as good as it can be when we have this horrible disease.. I too worked during chemo and radiation. I'm hoping that your cold weather ends soon,, it has been a strange winter for the entire country!
I too was on a 5 yr treatment,,took Tamoxifen,, had minimal side effects,, & when i say lttle,, conpared to the chemo,, i could deal with anything that the Tamoxifen handed me! I had weight gain,, but that was about 5-10 lbs,, which i lost when i stopped taking the drug. Went thur the mood swings etc,, but soon figured out how to get into and out of them.. Hot flashes, cold feelings,, wasn't all that bad... I'm about to hit my 20 yr mark ( this June)!!!
Wishing you good days ahead.,, june

Radiation (External radiation ): although I have had trouble getting to appointments due to bad weather I really haven't had any bad side effects I did swell up for a day or two the first week then it went away so far just a little bit of redness although the nerves in my breast are super sensitive so it gets fun during the day when having to wear undergarments. will be glad when its finished I hate having to drive 110 miles a day monday thru friday for treatments
