Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the database to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.

I am the wife of the patient. Sweet child, I pray that The Lord take command of this sickness, that your doctors and team of professionals have God’s inspired wisdom when they proceed in their care. May God continue to wrap you in his protection and give you time to keep growing in faith and in strength.

You and I have had/are having a very similar journey. Extremely similar actually except my cancer went from colon to my liver. I would love to ask you a few questions if you wouldn't mind...i am open to anything I can help you out with as well? I know we all deal with things in our own way...would it be ok if I asked a couple of questions about your diagnosis and treatment ? I've been having a hard time as my surgery didn't go well at all and my 5 day stay turned into a 17 day stay due to massive infections. I eventually checked myself out of the hospital as I kept getting more and more infections and did a lot better healing at home. I'll leave it up to you, but I would really love to chat with you. This site is amazingly supportive.

I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. I had stage III and IV rectal cancer. I am in remission right now! I am still on chemo and a few montha ago, I found out that I am in stage3 kidney failure.
I would love experiences with you.

I know this is probably no help.... but my daughter lost both ovaries to cancer right before she turned 18. She will be a wonderful mother one day.... but she'll have to adopt. So I'm so sorry this has happened to you.... My heart goes out to you....

One huge problem my daughter told me about.... is the hormone imbalance....

So my advice to you.... focus on getting your life back to normal, with both feet firmly in place without anxiety attacks and hormonal impulses and pain killer addiction.... focus on getting a new normal.... it'll never be the same.... but this is a new day and you have a new focus....

I'm sorry.... this probably doesn't help.... but I've been down the nightmare of being told the cancer has spread.... mine spread too.... you need to focus.... I'm sorry...
