Side Effects (Low white blood cell counts (neutropenia)): Low WBC led to getting Influenza Type A which then put me in the hospital since my body could not fight it.

Well, to say the least , I had the same choice but it was either the Chemo or Rad. treatment and well, I chose the chemo and have been through 5 treatments so far and the side effects for me have been the neausea and the constipation and well, the only now , that I have is the gas that builds up and causes some discomfort , at the most in opertune times . I have learned to take everything with a grain of salt .

Should have noted I have non-hodgins Lymphoma. Without that comment, my post makes even less sense.

Feel for you buddy. While the chemo may be different the after effects are probably very similar. If you need someone to talk with give me a holler.
