I was on Interferon I had flu like symptoms, fatigue, tiredness, vomiting, diaharea, shakes, leg cramps and chills. Not a fun time for a year. The treatment was first month 5 days a week in an infusion room for 2 hours and then it was 3 shots a week for 11 months. When the Oncologist says you take a year out of your life we wasn't kidding. So when I was home taking the shots I would take them late at night take a shower and go to sleep to try and sleep throught the symptoms. Now 6 years later I'm still here. I had Stage IIIB Nodular Melanoma.

      Good luck with your studies.
