I have that in the right side of my neck. I had a radical neck dissection followed by radiation on that area for the second time. I was treated for Hodgkin's Disease in 88 and 89 with radiation to the same area. My neck is partially numb and feels like a chunk of leather. I was told to have physical therapy to help with the range of motion, but I wok outside and twist my neck a lot through a day so I have only had one visit from the therapist. What issues are you having with it?

I have some issues with that around my throat from radiation for thyroid cancer. It's not as bad as Greg's, but I can definitely tell a difference.

Greg, my husband's neck feels as stiff as a board. He had bilateral neck dissection with three positive lymph nodes hence the need for radiation. He does ROM exercises, and I massage his neck every night to push the fluids to other lymph nodes so his lymphedema does not return. This may be a permanent side effect from radiation.
