Am at the cancer center now. OMW they had to stick me 4 times before they found a good vein! I have an appointment to have my old port taken out and a new one put in, unfortunately it won't help with these rounds. Two down, two to go....my poor arms! I'm sorry you had to go into the hospital but I am glad you are doing better. Prayers going out to you and yours!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are doing better. I missed my appointment for my port so I had to finish it up via vein. Looked like someone beat me, but they finally went away and I rescheduled my surgeons appointment. I won't need my port for 6 mths before my next round so it gives me time. God bless and keep fighting!

I hope you and yours are well. Thanksgiving day was great I hope you had a goodone too. It was exhausting I insisted on trying to do it all myself . i made my wife angry at me but I wanted to do things. You know how it is, i did overdo it though but i am okay now. i am getting a port put in on Wed, i just can take the constant needles XXX anymore. How are you my friend?

Hi there!!!! Sorry I didnt respond any sooner. Its been a tough week but I am here !!!!!! I had a few surgeries but not related to the cancer. Knee replacement (right) . I went to the oncologist this past week and my blood test results are getting better but still have a long way to go. I understand what you mean about the children. I feel the same way you do , I still have 3 of the girls at home, my oldest just went off to collge. My youngest is 13 so as you know it's not easy and the worries are plentiful. keep in touch with no matter what!!!! GOD BLESS !!!!!

Well bless your heart. It's definitely hard but having our children around keeps us fighting and fighting even harder to make it through. Half the time I don't even really know just how sick I am because I can't tell if it's old age or my leukemia acting up LOL. If I tell myself it is old age for some reason I can deal with it better because then I know I'm not alone in that. I don't know until the doctor tells me 'hey, you're sick' then it's like 'really, I didn't FEEL sick until NOW' then we figure out how we're going to deal with it. But I'm glad it is getting better for you. Keep fighting, keep praying and God Bless you and your family.

I too have fast growing CLL as well as Hypogammaglubemenia(CVID) and neutropenia. so i do a combination therapy with my chemo and immunoglobins . no one has mentioned to me about bone marrow so if you hear anything please let me know and ill ask my oncologist the next time i see him in a couple of weeks, i might have to see him earlier because the pain in my joints and all my bones is too much for me right now
