Hugs and healing vibes. I have not had any problems with my power port. I just did a quick google search, but could not find anything useful about this issue. Speak with your oncology team and ask them if they have any ideas why this happened. Perhaps it wasn't inserted correctly. I do know that people have had issues with this device, neck pain for several weeks, the port moving, or getting clogged. But this is the first time I've heard about blood clots and fever.

I would also report this to the FDA

      Bunnies,

Hope all is well. Your question reminded me of two places on the site where you might be able to gain insight. They are both experience pages that direct you both to procedures that other WhatNexters with breast cancer have gone through. The first is mastectomy and the second is reconstruction with implant. Perhaps you will find it helpful.

I had the expanders and still feel pretty tight. So, I'd think you feeling tight would make sense. I had bilateral on May 3 and a swop from expander to implants on aug. 18... So your situation makes sense to me!!! Hugs!
