Where to find a Mastectomy swimsuit?

i also choose against recon... and i'm just going flat. i do not use prosthetics or anything. so, a tank top style swimsuit is the way for me to go... or a speedo style swimsuit...

but, if you wanna get something that will allow you to have breast forms or something similar, i have heard good things about lands end mastectomy swim suits...there's also this website called swimsuits for all. anyway, a google search on mastectomy swimsuits yields a TON of results... since a swimsuit is so much more than the bust... well... for me, i'm quite self conscious about my butt... so that's important too, right!

the last thing i'll suggest... and this is also what i might do... is wear a surf shirt. i'm kind of leaning this way because i also have a bunch of moles and want to be a bit more careful about sun exposure on hard to reach with sunscreen places....

      hope that helps!

      best wishes,
      lee

Land's End does have some nice mastectomy suits. I have a Tankini style that I pair with a swim skirt. Being 66, I don't want to show too much flesh at the beach. lol

Another good source is T.H.E. Mastectomy. They have a cute ruffled tankini top that would disguise your "flat top" pretty good. If you don't want to wear prostheses, they have the same suit without the pockets. I'm thinking of ordering one of these for myself. I had a single mastectomy, so I wear a prosthesis with mine.

Other nice suits, like Jodee and Amoena, are also worth checking out. I'm sure you'll find one that is just right for you.

I have stage II er+ and pr+. I was diagnosed on 9/27/2012 had double mastectomy on 10/10/2012. I went to highlands oncology on 10/29/2012 and was told I am supposedly cancer
free. I have to take tamoxifen for 5 years. I feel like I have cheated other survivors because I am not doing chemo. And I don't understand how they can say I am cancer free.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): Started my Tamoxifen on11/13/2012. I am having a hard time making myself take it.
Have read alot of stories how it can rob one's quaility of life. I am thankful I don't have to do chemo though. I just want my life back so I can raise my boys without bouts of crying for know reason. I also get so frusrated because my range of motion is not as good as I would like.
