I always drink water, but during chemo it tasted like salt water. YUCK! I had to mix water with juice or flavored vitamin water. My last chemo was August 16. I wrote in my journal on Sept 9 that water tasted normal again. It's the little victories that mean so much during this experience. Good luck with everything:)

@Thanks4Mayo, how are your saliva glands doing now? I am 4 years out from radiation for SCC, tonsil, and I am still trying to get the saliva glands going. Just started taking my slobber pills again. I quit taking them a couple years ago because they weren't working. I think I'm getting a little slobber going I think, slow but a little bit. Taste is good, need to stop eating though. *blimp*
