Oh No: I was in and out of hospital for the past 10 years removing cysts on my ovaries, then eventually first removing the left ovary, months later removing my womb and then then finally removing the right ovary. All this had a huge impact in my life, my career and my family. I was prescribed with antidepressants and was on trial with various HRT's, eventually Estrodot 50ml agreed with me. My weight gain also made me miserable and very depressed. Eventually I decided that no more operations for me. I took on the Body for Life challenge with my 20 year old son and lost moe than 20kgs in 12 weeks. It was amazing and I felt great. A new lease on life. But then I started have terrible back and stomach pain and basically lived on pain killers. It was then that my mom advised I go for a check up. Well need I say more another operation but this time all my organs was mashed together and I had so much scare tissue because of all the surgeries I had gone for. That was by far the worst operation I had undergone. I woke up in high care with a scare from my naval down and across with almost 100 staples. Anyway after surgery year later I was due for my annual check which included a mamogram. When my doctor called me in I knew from that minute that I had cancer. My reaction exactly. OH NO!!! Not again...I was diagnosed with IDC (.3cm) and DCIS (1.9 cm) Stage 1 Grade 1 ER/PR Positive HER Negative. The Breast Surgeon had said that chemo would be in the "grey zone" and Radiation Therapy would be required. I saw the Med. Onc. who did not recommend Chemo. I am 40 years old.
