Congrats to you! I was also in the study, but the cancer continued to grow. It his must have been the right trial for you. After being removed from the EC145 trial, I started another trial that is showing positive results. Thank you for sharing and helping us work to find drugs that will fight our types of cancer. Yeah!

Welcome! This is a great place to learn, laugh and lean on others.
My diagnosis was exactly the same as yours, that was a year and a half ago and here I am. I am doing almost everything that I ever did before cancer and my life is slowly returning to normal. I just finished a clinical trial and was pronounced "stable". It IS worth it.

I have just completed clinical study at
Washington university in St. Louis Mo and my CA125 is at it lowest point ever. I just wanted to let you all know that I am doing quite well a year and a half after being diagnosed. I am living proof that a diagnosis of ovarian cancer is NOT a death sentence.

Way to kick it Carol! Glad to hear your doing well, please check in often, you may be able to help some of the others that are just now starting their journey. They can always use advice from the "pros".
Hope you continue to do great.

I, too, am over 70 and have been where you are. After doing remarkably well in a clinical study, I feel great and am doing almost everything that I did before ovarian cancer. Good luck with your treatments.
