I am still going through chemo and I have gained 15 pounds! I was already overweight to begin with so this is uncomfortable and upsetting. I am much more sedentary now than I was before so that has to be a huge part of it. Hopefully I do not gain any more and hopefully we both can lose this soon!

I completely understand and it is SO frustrating. I have gained 20 pounds at this point. Before dx I was working out at least 5 days a week and could eat anything I wanted, although I tried to have a healthy diet. With a bilateral mastectomy, then chemo starting 6 weeks later? Stopped running, weight lifting, swimming, kickboxing.... sat on the sofa with the fatigue and I ate what I could. Easy 20 pounds. I JUST got the okay from my doctors to start back up again, minus anything working any chest muscles, so I'm hoping to at least start gaining some muscle back that I have lost.
Right now I keep reminding myself (and others keep telling me), this is temporary. This is what I have to do to get through treatment and I will get my body back.Sometimes that is easier to say than believe! Especially when I am up 2 sizes and had to buy new jeans if I wanted to have them buttoned and sit down at the same time! But I refuse to spend a lot of money on bigger clothes. I went to the Salvation Army and got 3 pairs of jeans for $12.47! No guilt!
