Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): I had a successful wedge resection with clean margins. When they operate on the right upper lung there's a possibility of messing with your natural pacemaker... which led to the staff waking me 3 times during the night as they monitored my heart beat. They expected it so they were fully prepared and I wasn't scared at all. Then after having a colonoscopy Monday, a lung biopsy on Wednesday, then a last minute cancellation in the OR put me in surgery on Friday, I once again experienced "ilias?" "illis"? when your digestive system stops moving... urp! I threw up so much I couldn't eat or drink right for a week after released from the hospital. Now I'm obsessed with never becoming like that again! Pain meds=docusate
