Hi Catry,
Good luck with your scan tomorrow. I hope nothing has spread. Keep in mind, though, a lot of us here are stage III and IV. I'm planning on being around a long time and I'm sure the others feel the same. And welcome to the site. Sorry you have to be here, but I'm glad you found us. We are definitely a unique bunch of people. Very supportive. All the best!

I've been told that my diagnosis is stage 3 invasive and I now have to go for my PET scan tomorrow. When they removed my lymphnodes it was found in eleven of them. While I am trying not to be nervous, they have said that if it has spread they'll not be able to cure it. I've been praying that the scan goes welll.

Procedure or Surgery (masectomy and ancillary lymph node dissection): I have lots of people praying for me and the surgery went very well with hardly any pain as I am entering my second week after surgery. However, I do need help around the house and needed someone to help with drains and getting dressed. I've been blessed to have a cousin come and stay with us for the first part of recovery.
