When they say it changes you and you're never really over it, that's so true! I had colon cancer 5-1/2 years ago and a metastasis to my lung 3 years later. I thought I've handled all pretty well and with a positive attitude, don't let things really bother me too much.
Well, I get my latest CT scan results tomorrow and it just dawned on me that I just ate 3 small ice cream cones in a row! I'd say I just might be a little nervous! It's never over when it's over!

Two time cancer survivor! First colon cancer 5-1/2 years ago, then metastasis to the lung 3 years later. Now I'm feeling great and cancer free!

Hi Suzette, welcome to the family! I was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 70. Went through radiation, chemo & surgery. Then a cuople of years later it metastasized to my lung, more radiation & surgery. But I am now cancer free and will be 75 in 2 months and feel great! Hang in there, do what your doctors tell you. You can always ask us any questions or just vent if you need to, we've been and can relate to what you're going through. Hugs!
