Side Effects (Sterioid side effect): I had steroid side effects that I didn't understand (never had a steroid in my life) the first 2 weeks of chemo. I had racing heart and pain in my chest plus couldn't sleep at night. Had I called the office they could have told me what was wrong or got me in to check me. I paniced because heart problems can be a side effect of chemo and figured it was just heart problems and they couldn't reverse it. They prescribed xanax and I was fine the rest of my chemo treatments it took care of those side effects of the steroids. Instead I just felt doing chemo was the worst decision I ever made and spent 2 miserable weeks. If you have any questions or worries call your doctor and don't wait.
