It's been 4 weeks now since my diagnosis. The shock's worn off a little bit. We had some insurance issues that got resolved, and now I'm as ready as I'll ever be to get started on the radation and chemo. I read on the blog that it's a lonely time, the duration of treatment and recovery. I get it, and understand that.People don't know what to say to me right now but it's ok, I know people care...

I don't know,it's been 4 weeks since my diagnosis. It has taken this long for the news of my cancer diagnosis to really hit me on a deep personal level. I've been in denial in a way for the last month. I see now that deep hurt, grief and longstanding resentments unresolved over time play a role, and holding on to hatreds. And they said it was from not eating enough fiber.Anyway, I need to forgive and release all of the past so I can heal properly then move ahead with life.Choose to fill my world with joy. Make my own decisions and live my own life. I got this idea from Louise Hay's book, "You Can Heal Your Life". Let it go - right?
