Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Had chemo every 3 weeks for 4 treatments. My husband brought me the first 2 treatments and after I was hooked up I sent him to work. He picked me up afterward. The last 2 treatments I went by myself.

Procedure or Surgery (Double Mastectomy): Only stayed in hospital overnight. Took painkillers once when I first came home but after that took Tylenol for discomfort. Bought a special pillow for sleeping.

Oh No (I didn't have an Oh No moment - mine was more of a finally moment. My Aunt died of breast cancer when she was my age 30 years ago. Before the pink ribbons and 5k runs - I have always been aware of this disease)
