Pam - Yes I tell those I date if I am interested - it is part of me and who I am - my scars are big and very noticeable on my neck. So far.... knock on wood..... it has not been a problem :)

Pam - Dating... After all of thes years - is different :) I do the on-line dating - I have tried a few - match.com, seniorpeople, eharmony..... I prefer POF - Plenty of Fish :) It does not cost. Most of my dates end up as just good friends that I stay in touch with:) I take one step at a time - I am still trying to find myself......

Thanks so much for your reply. It gives me a lift to know about the possibilities and that you've gone there ahead of me. And...I'd be happy to have "just good friends." Do you tell them of your illness and if so at what point? I appreciate being able to be blunt and to treat you like a long lost good friend.
