Hi Christian, I'm Christiana. I just moved from Lansing to north Carolina to live with my son because I can no longer work. I have stage 4 and was told I only had two years. It will now be 4 years in September. I like to get a lot of advice, ask a lot of questions, do a lot of research both medically and holistically and have gotten at least 4 opinions. I then make up my mind what I want to do and work with my doctors. Most have a medical mind set but they still have to do what I want or I find a different one. So far I have been lucky that they listen to me. Chemo didn't work on its own so I am now doing radiation with chemo to shrink it hopefully. I will then bombard it with heavy supplements and organic eating which I have told them about and we will see what happens. Nothing is written in stone and I just try to do what I think is best. I must be doing something right if I've lasted 4 years. I must admit this tumor is so stubborn and hopefully radiation will shrink it. I'm not sure why they didn't use it right away and neither can the doctors here but we will see how it goes. If you should have any questions or if I can help, please let me know. Wishing you the best. Big hug and welcome to the group.
