Other Care (Home care): I learned a lot and would love to answer any questions or give some tips that i wish i knew before she went through it. Ie making her comfy, dealing with nausea, other side effects, what prevented her from being so sick afterwards, you know......just little things that made a huge difference. From keeping a daily journal (MUST HAVE) to cleaning the house to driving to appts and more.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Pain medicine): Ask a nurse about "stacking" your pain meds.
We learned of this after seond chemo round. You should NOT be in pain. If you are, tell the doctor and he will get you something that works. Rebecca had diladid, methadone, and 2 others. Also Ativan worked great for anxiety/pain.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Nausea medicine): MAKE SURE you get a NUELASTA shot within 24 hours of infusion or you will be sicker than XXX.
Her "nurse" "forgot" about it. We went through the weekend scared with no answers until Monday. The nurse just brushed off our concern, gave her the shot and within 30 minutes Rebecca was so so so much better.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): R-CHOP worked until Jun 2014. Then the mass began to get bigger. Next goal was stem cell transplant at City of Hope, Duarte, CA.
