Celebration (Anniversary): I entered my 34th year in remission from A.L.L. Leukemia. I happy that i have been blessed with 2 healthy sons that are now 18 and 11 years old. Was told children wouldn't be likely as i had both chemo and radiation for 13 years, starting at the age of 2. I'm now 49 and hope i have many more years to come.

Celebration (Remission): At 15 i went into remission and also had my first girlfriend, we stayed together from junior high all the way through high school before going in seperate directions that wasn't totally within our control.I have had a few bumps in the road since then , but have remained in remission for the last 33 years and have been living with Cancer for 46 years. I hope my experience can give everyonme hope that even when things don't look good if you keep fighting and have faith you always have a chance to beat any type of Cancer.

I know what you mean by a few bumps in the road. I love how God looks after me though. I feel blessed to be on this earth and to be who I am. I feel sometimes alone I think It's because people that are close to me don't want to say or do the wrong things. But most of the time they treat me like they normally would. I feel really special because I went through what I did. Can you relate to any of this?

Loss (There where 7 children all with different types of Cancer): There where 7 children all with different types of Cancer being treated at the hospital, we all where on the same floor and became very close. Sadly one by one they passed away and when i was 15 a young girl who was 2 years younger than me was the last to pass away and we both went to the same school at the time. I got in many fights that year protecting her and myself as the other children would pick on her and me because they wanted to see a seizure. I was the last of our group and i felt all alone.
